• Written Contracts: A formal contract will include the contractor's license number, a detailed scope of work, and approximate start and completion dates.

4. California Home Improvement Disclosures

In accordance with California Business and Professions Code § 7159, all AC Tech Inc. service agreements adhere to the following:

• Down Payments: For home improvement jobs, the down payment cannot exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less.

• Right to Cancel: Homeowners have a three-business-day right to cancel any contract after signing.

• Mechanic’s Lien Warning: Unpaid subcontractors or suppliers may file a lien against your property. AC Tech Inc. will provide unconditional releases upon payment for each phase of work.

• Subcontractor Disclosure: Effective 2026, AC Tech Inc. will notify homeowners if subcontractors are used and provide their contact and license information upon request.

5. Payments and Change Orders

• Payment Schedule: Payments will be tied to specific progress milestones as outlined in your individual contract.

• Change Orders: Any modifications to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in a written change order signed by both parties before the extra work begins.

6. Warranties and The Daikin Comfort Promise

As an officially recognized Daikin Comfort Pro, AC Tech Inc. maintains world-class standards in HVAC excellence.

• Workmanship Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your new equipment within one year of installation, we will work with you to resolve any issues.

• Manufacturer Warranties: Standard manufacturer warranties apply to all equipment. AC Tech Inc. provides labor warranties as specified in your individual service agreement.

7. Insurance and Liability

AC Tech Inc. carries Commercial General Liability Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect our clients and employees. Customers are responsible for providing access to the property and utilities (water and electricity) necessary to complete the work.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or our services shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County.
